The response to corporate sponsorship has been very generous so far and we would like to take the opportunity to thanks all those who have contributed.

A third passenger was included on the record run. You heard it right.....a teddy bear called Go Bear, complete with aviator's logbook. He has already flown with the Red Arrows and much more. He will be auctioned complete with logbook at the end of the flying season. See more (opens in new window)

After the sponsorship stickers were fitted to the aircraft, a small reception was held at the Cotswold Aero Club at Gloucestershire Airport for the commercial sponsors of the attempt. It was good to be able to personally thank those who have to generously contributed with either donations or help 'in kind'. We were featured in ITV Central South news and BBC 'Points West' along with several radio interviews and newspaper articles.

The visit to the London Air Show, 'Fly' went just fine. We were the guests of Exxon Elite Oil who kindly looked after us during our stay there. It did seem a pity that relatively few people visited, as there really was something there for everyone. The British Disabled Flying Association were given stand space by Senate Aviation who were showing the latest Piper Arrow and Saratoga.
